How many dogs do you walk?
We are insured to walk up to 6 dogs per handler but we have made a concious choice to limit our groups to maximum 4 dogs. That way we can still maintain highly personalised walk for each member of the pack maintain propper control in case we need it.
I want to socialise my puppy/adolescent dog. Is a group walk a good solution?
Not to start with. We believe that young dogs need to learn how to behave around other dogs and how to focus on their handler. That is why we take them on solo walks first to build solid foundations, once they learn a good imupuls control and focus on handler we selectively introduce them to suitable dogs on joined walks. This step teaches them to focus in proximity of other dog. Once they demonstrate a good compliance in presence of dogs and other distractions, they can be gently introduced to suitable group.
What happens before you work with me and my dog?
After your initial contact will send you a form to fill in. This form will be specific to the servis you've requested and the information within it will help us to better understand your and your dogs individual needs and concerns. Once we get the form back from you will arrange a Meet and Greet or an assesment where we will ask you aditional questions that might have poped up from your answers and we will do our best to befriend your dog. You will also have a chance to ask us any questions you might have.
What is a Meet and Greet?
Meet and Greet is our way yo get to get to know your dog and make sure we will be the right fit.
It takes on average about an hour. We will meet you and your dog at your house for chat. Than we will go for short walk with you to observe how your dog behaves outside and how they interact with the environment.
After we return we might ask you to step outside with us for a moment and we will attempt to enter your house without you to ensure that your dog will be comfortable with strangers collecting them for walk.
If we are all satisfied at this point, we will agree schedule and other details.
